Our Signature Window Tint Installation Process

How we do things is just as important as why we do things. This is why Commercial Window Tinting has a highly refined, minimally intrusive process for window tint installation but certainly not a lengthy one. Since your building is a profit center, it is essential for the job the be done right and done on time. Below is an outline of our signature process that will have your building completed and earning you more money in no time at all.

STEP 1
Our installation process begins with a thorough inspection and onsite consultation. We like to examine your windows in person to gain a better understanding of your building and find out more about your goals for the project. This also allows us to take exact site measurements and draft a plan. At this time, we will schedule an appointment to install the film at a time that’s convenient for you, which includes off hour availability.
STEP 2
We arrive prepared for the installation. Prior to your appointment, we cut all the film in advance with a plotter to speed up the installation process. This also helps to keep our services more eco-friendly by minimizing product waste. During your appointment, we clean all of the windows and apply C-Bond as a primer. Then, the film is applied to the prepared glass.
STEP 3
Next, we add our final touches to the windows. We squeegee out all of the C-Bond primer and clean up the edges of the glass.* Then, we inspect the glass and film to make sure that there are no defects or flaws present. After about 24-72 hours, the adhesive is fully set and the project is completed.**

Why We Use C-bond For Commercial Applications

In the past, soap and water have been used as a method for priming glass prior to installing film. While this proves to be effective in eliminating visible imperfections in the film, this technique does nothing to improve the glass itself. C-Bond works at a molecular level to increase glass strength and resistance to shattering. We believe that using C-Bond is a better way for installing window film due to its ability to

• Increase glass strength by at least 100%
• Prevent cracking from temperature differences
• Defend against hail, golf balls, and lawn mower rocks
• Speed up the drying time for window film
• Improve window clarity during installation

**Please note, for projects that are not applied with C-Bond, it may take up to four weeks for the film to achieve full clarity and adhesion. In certain cases that involve well-shaded areas or interior rooms that lack sunlight, there can be adhesion problems when C-Bond is not used for the installation.
